The NSF NCAR Advanced Study Program (ASP) is pleased to announce that they are now accepting applications from graduate students for the 2025 Graduate Visitor Program.
The ASP Graduate Visitor Program (GVP) is an excellent way for graduate students to connect with NSF NCAR scientists and engineers to receive guidance on their thesis or final project equivalent during visits ranging from two to six months. The GVP is also an opportunity to develop research collaborations with NSF NCAR scientists and engineers and participate in professional development workshops and seminars. These visits enhance partnerships with other public and private institutions while enriching the research of the participating graduate students. A nomination from an NSF NCAR scientist as a sponsor/host is required, along with the graduate student application, for consideration.
The graduate student application deadline for the GVP is November 1, 2024. The host nomination deadline for NSF NCAR scientists and engineers is November 6, 2024.
