1: Carry over item: The committee shall promote the visibility of the ground-based GPS data set.
2: Linda will contact Seth Gutman with regard to acquiring access to the NOAA GPS data.
3: The THREDDS Data Server will soon have a WMS interface. The committee asks the UPC to prepare an article for the e-letter to on this topic.
4: The Equipment Awards high success rate should be emphasized in a news announcement.
5: To determine community readiness for AWIPS-II, the .UPC should conduct a hardware survey.
6: The Users and Policy Committee chairs together with the UPC Director will prepare a community announcement regarding the AWIPS-II licensing.
7: An NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) staff member should be contacted and asked to speak at a future meeting. Linda will identify an appropriate speaker.
