Only metars found in the localization’s MTR.spi will be ingested, e.g. if you
left the localization set to OAX:
/awips2/edex/data/utility/common_static/site/OAX/basemaps/MTR.spi
My system ingested KSYR:

The KQ.. stations are not in the MTR.spi so are rejected.
