Brian,

I think it is the graphics driver. I installed CentOS 6.5, then updated to
6.7 with yum update. CAVE did not display gridded images, just radar and
satellite images.
Then I downloaded the appropriate driver from NVIDIA's website (
https://developer.nvidia.com/opengl-driver) , and it works with the new
driver.
