   - Unidata Program Center Welcomes Howard Van Dam
   - A JupyterHub for the Unidata Community
   - Unidata is looking for a Software Developer

Plus -- Python focused regional software workshops at:

   - Metro State University of Denver, March 8
   - Valparaiso University, March 14-15

 A few deadlines to be aware of:

   - Applications for 2019 Community Equipment Awards will be accepted
   until 8 March 2019.
   - Nominations for the 2019 Russell L. DeSouza Award will be accepted
   until 20 March 2019.
   - Applications for the NOAA-NASA Satellite Meteorology Summer School
   will be accepted until 31 March 2019.
