Dear Community Members,

The nomination period will soon be drawing to a close for the Unidata
DeSouza Award. Please consider making a nomination (doesn’t take too long!)
or encouraging someone else to put in a nomination for an individual
 “whose energy, expertise, and active involvement enable the Unidata
Program to better serve geoscience. Honorees personify Unidata's ideal of a
community that shares data, software, and ideas through computing and
networking technologies.” There are countless individuals out there who
make it easier to teach and conduct research through their work in
exemplifying the ideals of this award. Help us recognize their work!

The nomination form will require contact information for the nominator, the
nominee, and a free response to explain why the nominee should be
considered for the award. Thats’s it - short and sweet. To nominate someone
for the award, please use the nomination form
