   - Unidata is looking for an AWIPS Software Developer
   - Lots of cool new IDV tutorial videos, thanks to summer intern Jessica
   Blunt
   - Unidata Program Center Welcomes Zach Bruick
   - Python-Focused Software Training Workshop at Valparaiso University
   - THREDDS Data Server and netCDF-Java releases

 A few deadlines to be aware of:

   - Abstracts for the AMS 2020 Annual Meeting *were* due today (1 August
   2019), but many deadlines have been extended..
