Greetings all, NCEP has been having some dataflow issues this week, most notably impacting the FTPPRD service, various NCEP websites and other services hosted out of College Park. Intel has been spotty due to these comms issues, but the latest admin message references CONDUIT, that message is pasted below. I see the 12Z GFS coming in on CONDUIT now, so I'm not clear on the extent of the impacts to this feed, but be aware there may be dataflow issues here. The latest messages from NCEP/NCO should be available on this page, though it may have trouble staying up to date until everything's resolved: https://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/status/messages/ SENIOR DUTY METEOROLOGIST NWS ADMINISTRATIVE MESSAGE NWS NCEP CENTRAL OPERATIONS COLLEGE PARK MD 0904Z WED JUN 26 2024 ...NCWCP NETWORK AND DATA CENTER RECOVERY... Recovery efforts in NCWCP paused during the overnight hours. Teams are currently prepping to resume troubleshooting this morning, focusing on fully restoring dataflow processes and WPC, CPC, and OPC operations. Known Remaining Operational Impacts: *-CONDUIT remains down.* -NWS Cloud Services, GIS, HydroVIS and NWPS, are degraded due to various datasets not updating. -National Center operations remain degraded (this includes websites not fully updating, forecasters not receiving all datasets, and degraded compute farms). -NCWCP intranet is down. -Windows systems at NCWCP are unable to connect to the internet. -Critical NWS network monitoring remains down. -Some international datasets, including UKMET and Canadian METARs, are unavailable.
