GRIB2 reader for Matlab?

Hello All

This may be off topic, but I'm looking for a GRIB2 reader for Matlab.
Anyone know of such a beast?  I know I can go from GRIB2 into NetCDF
into Matlab, but the NetCDF files are rather large.
