[decoders] Existing Python Parsers?

NOTE: The decoders mailing list is no longer active. The list archives are made available for historical reasons.

Does anyone know of an existing set of Python decoders for standard ascii coded 
messages? I've found two for Metar but nothing for the bulk of other sources 
(SYNOP/C-MAN/Buoy/etc). I'm just curious before I start working on my own 
package if there exists another that I can use or leverage.
