The example WCS URLs on this page: http://motherlode.ucar.edu:8080/thredds/docs/WCS/index.html should now work, including: http://motherlode.ucar.edu:8080/thredds/wcs/testdata/striped.nc?request=GetCapabilities&version=1.0.0&service=WCS and http://motherlode.ucar.edu:8080/thredds/wcs/testdata/striped.nc?request=GetCoverage&version=1.0.0&service=WCS&format=GeoTIFF&coverage=ta&time05-05-10T00:00:00Z&vertical=100.0&bbox=-134,11,-47,57%20 ------------------- I have added some realtime datasets, in case you are interested in testing on other than the Galeon examples. Their URLs are available through the catalog: http://motherlode.ucar.edu:8080/thredds/wcs/catalog.xml or its html version: http://motherlode.ucar.edu:8080/thredds/wcs/catalog.html If anyone wants me to add other datasets from motherlode to the WCS server, just let me know. You can explore whats available by browsing: http://motherlode.ucar.edu:8080/thredds/catalog.htmlNote that the radial and station data is not amenable to serving through WCS; only gridded data that is evenly spaced.

For instance, the following url: http://motherlode.ucar.edu:8088/thredds/wcs/testdata/striped.nc?request=GetCapabilities&version=1.0.0&service=WCSFolks, As per the phone discussion, it seems the server is now at 8080 instead of 8088. I now find that the GetCapabilities and DescribeCoverage work ok, but the example GetCoverage (adapted to 8080) still doesn't work, giving: <ServiceExceptionReport version='1.2.0'> <ServiceException code='Invalid Dataset'> null </ServiceException> </ServiceExceptionReport> Best regards, -- ---------------------------------------+-------------------------------------- I set the clouds in motion - turn up | Frank Warmerdam, warmerdam@xxxxxxxxx light and sound - activate the windows | http://pobox.com/~warmerdam and watch the world go round - Rush | Geospatial Programmer for Rent
