METEOSAT8 (2nd Gen) in GEMPAK

I have a METEOSAT 8 (MSG) McIDAS AREA file that I am trying to display
in GEMPAK5.8.3a using GARP and NMAP2 and I get an error:

No image type entry for file.....

Does anyone know what the image type should be and what table does this
info need to be entered into?
