Two instances of dcmetr?

I would like to be able to store decoded METRA obs such that I have one
file that is in 20 minute bins, and the other in the traditional hourly
bins.  I know there can be issues with having two entries of the same
decoder acting on the same data.  is there aw ay to do this without
causing problems?
