Chris, Have you tried compiling from source? That should cause it to use whatever version of the libraries you have on your box. PeteIn a previous message to me, you wrote:
I was wondering if anyone has installed GEMPAK on Ubuntu Linux. I have been able to use the listing commands and map displays, however, When trying to run the GUI interface (NMAP2, NTRANS, etc...), I get an error saying the it cannot find glibc_2.3.4 (Ubuntu uses glibc_2.2) Also, if I am not able to get GEMPAK working on Ubuntu, I was wondering what the recommended Linux platform is. Thanks in advance Chris
