I've often wondered why time and money were ever invested in the IDV when gempak has always functioned perfectly. Perhaps some 'need' to move to a windows platform? Of course with chiz gone who knows what will happen. The important point of this message is to reiterate the need for the excellent scripting capability of gempak, which hopefully will be a direct transition in the new version. God forbid gempak users for x years would have to rewrite every script in our arsenal after we have become accustomed to an application actually doing what it was designed to do. -cheers --patrick
