Nathan,I've built with F14 64 without issues. I wonder if some of the Makefiles in the program directories are lacking the libxml2 library line. Check, for example, the file $NAWIPS/GEMPAK6.2.0/unidata/programs/gp/gpvad/Makefile. In its LIBINC stanza, you should see the following:
LIBINC = \
$(GEMLIB) \
$(APPL) \
$(SYSLIB) \
$(CGEMLIB) \
$(GEMLIB) \
$(NETCDF) \
$(PNGLIB) \
$(OS_LIB)/textlib.a \
$(OS_LIB)/libxml2.a \
$(OS_LIB)/libxslt.a \
$(ZLIB) \
$(CGEMLIB) \
$(RSLLIB) \
$(LIBBZ2)
Do you see the libxml2.a line in there?
