Your system does not have the make command (and probably many others
that are necessary for building gempak). If you're building on Fedora,
you'll want to install the following packages:

make
autoconf
gcc-gfortran
gcc-c++
libXp-devel
libX11-devel
xorg-x11-fonts-ISO8859-1-75dpi
bison
flex
libtool

If you're using a different distribution, you'll need to find the
appropriate packages.
