Hi Michael,
Ok, I dropped the file path (actually $GEMDATA/radar)
it creates the gem file, but doesn't scroll through all the site's
telling if it got used or skipped
I'll test and see if it is legit
(GEMPAK was compiled by LDM so I wouldn't run into the perm issues
that it looks like I have anyways)


and no this is an IPv4

    Just moved to a new server for GEMPAK
    CentOS 5.9 64Bit

    problem I'm having is with gdradr, everything else is working great
    gdplot3, gpmap and the decoders ..

    here is the error I'm getting
    [FL -3]  Cannot create file
    /usr/local/ldm/data/text/gempak/radar/20120902_radr.gem.
     [DM -1]  File
    /usr/local/ldm/data/text/gempak/radar/20120902_radr.gem cannot be
    created.
     [GD -1]  File
    /usr/local/ldm/data/text/gempak/radar/20120902_radr.gem cannot be
    created.
     [GDRADR -5]  Could not create grid file
    /usr/local/ldm/data/text/gempak/radar/20120902_radr.gem


    So where do I begin ??
    re-compile ??
