Hello,
I don't have any processing of level 2, but do a lot with level 3. Some of my junk can be found here:

There's a HOWTO from many moons ago on that page discussing going from GEMPAK to mapserver. This was thanks to nex2img that Chiz wrote for the community many moons ago as well :)
All my level3 product processing can be sent your way via LDM, if you would like just to use what I got in realtime.

I know I can use a tool like gdalwarp to convert from one projection to another but I also don't really understand what projection corresponds to the rad projection. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
