Daryl, Thanks for the reply, the directory has been setup with the naming and directory conventions followed. I didn't actually use any of the case data, only a few archive files from our local TDWR site. I've had issues before with our local TDWR data, so I am completely willing to believe GEMPAK is not the issue. I was more wondering if the NCDC level 3 works natively at all which, judging by everyone's response, it does. -Warren Warren Pettee Undergraduate - Meteorology Department of Geography and Earth Sciences University of North Carolina at Charlotte 9201 University City Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28223 wpettee@xxxxxxxx | 336.257.9239 ________________________________________ From: daryl herzmann <akrherz@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, April 28, 2015 4:33 PM To: Pettee, Warren Cc: gembud@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [gembud] Using GEMPAK for Real-time exercise On Tue, 28 Apr 2015, Pettee, Warren wrote: > On another note, does NCDC archived level 3 data require decoding? Did you rename the files to properly match the directory structure and file naming that GEMPAK expects? For example: $ ls $RAD/NIDS/DMX/N0R/N0R_20150428_2028 /data/gempak/nexrad/NIDS/DMX/N0R/N0R_20150428_2028 daryl -- /** * Daryl Herzmann * Assistant Scientist -- Iowa Environmental Mesonet * http://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu */
