Hi James - for GEMPAK can you provide more details (what data source are you plotting - vgf file or a grid), you can likely get your answer by viewing the online tutorial here GEMPAK Online Tutorial<https://unidata.github.io/gempak/tutorial/>. As far as AWIPS2 you will need to submit that to the awips mail list. But if I recall because it's a redbook format file and WPC provides the fronts analysis separate from the pmsl analysis both colors are controlled on the interface manually which you can save in a procedure.
