[IDDBrasil #XPZ-611749]: Re: 20060609: CONDUIT Latency (cont.)

Hi Waldenio,

re: we would like, I want to ask you to try the next test:

Please do _NOT_ make this change! We now believe that this will
result in you losing (not receiving) a small fraction of the
data.

Instead, please return the CONDUIT request lines in moingobe
to the 10-way split you had previously. Again, this would be
something like:

request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*0$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*1$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*2$" idd.undiata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*3$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*4$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*5$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*6$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*7$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*8$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY
request CONDUIT "MT.gfs_CY.(00|12).*9$" idd.unidata.ucar.edu PRIMARY

This will insure that you get all of the CONDUIT data as fast as possible.
What it does not provide for is data redundancy.

I can explain this further if you like; please let me know.

Cheers,

Tom
