Hi All-

In preparation for the upcoming IDV training workshops we
have released a beta version of IDV 2.6 for testing.  We would
appreciate any feedback on this release.  You can download
it from the following page:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/idv/release/test

Some of the new features in this release:

System Changes
# Use of netCDF 4.0 library
# Use of Java 1.6
Display Changes
# Publication Quality Graphics
Data Changes
# Remote Level III Radar access
# Objective Analysis of Point Data
# Weather Text Bulletins
# ATCF Tropical Storm track display

Currently, the only documentation on these features is in the
Release Notes:

We will be updating the User's Guide and Workshop tutorial over
the next two weeks in time for the Training Workshops.
