Dear IDV Community, A major release of IDV 5.0 is available for download at: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/There are several new and important improvements with this IDV version including a revamped image chooser, adaptive resolution and match display region which will enhance the user's experience when dealing with large datasets.
There are also significant "under the hood" changes such as a new version of Java, and Java 3D.
