Bill: After you display the contours for your 2D contour plot, click on the "Displays" tab in the IDV Dashboard and then select the Display Control (along the left side) for your contour field. In this display control there is a slider labelled "Vertical Position" the purpose of which is just what you described -- so you can move a 2D field up and down in the display. tom On 3/6/07, Gustafson, William I <william.gustafson@xxxxxxx> wrote:
Hi, I might have missed this since I am pretty new to IDV. Is it possible to plot a 2-D XY contour field at an arbitrary level? For example, in Vis5D one can drag the contour plot up and down in the vertical to different heights so multiple fields can be seen easily. Is this capability in IDV?
