Thank you. I was a little unclear about what exactly IDV was expecting in terms 
of conventions. For a while, I was struggling with getting netcdf files to open 
in IDV, so I used the compliance checkers. Those were returning errors, but I 
wasn't exactly sure why. I understand, now. However, I wonder if there is a 
document that describes what IDV expects for netCDF files.
