I want to write a script to pull in and subset a bunch of differentdata files into an assemblage for a particular event (e.g. volcaniceruption). Of course, I can just stick them in their own directory tomake it easy to import them, but is there any advantage to having myscript create, say, a local THREDDS catalog for them?
