Problem:  once a color table is created that has some transparancy
levels set, it does not seem possible to retrieve the transparancy
levels that were set.  It would seem to me that under the RGB tabbed
panel, where the Red, Green and Blue sliders are, it would be
appropriate to add a 4th one for alpha....but perhaps there is a
better way to solve the problem....
