Hello!I am having a problem launching the IDV (both v4.0 and v3.1u1) from the launch icon on Mac OSX 10.8.2.
When launching from the icon, the splash screen comes up and then the Data Chooser window. But the splash screen never goes away and the Display Window never appears.
When I run the script /Applications/IDV_4.0/runIDV from a terminal, it works properly.
I am running the following version of java: java version "1.6.0_41" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_41-b02-445-11M4107) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.14-b01-445, mixed mode)I could certainly use the IDV launching from a terminal, but the launch icon is more handy.
