[idvusers] no data points in transect view

Trying to plot earthquake locations in a transect display, everything works until you make the location display, after setting up the transect box. No location symbols appear in the transect display.
Attached are a sample data file and a screen capture showing what was done. I used the transect instructions at 
https://www.unavco.org/software/visualization/idv/IDV_for_GEON_howto.html#transv
which are more complete than the transect instructions in the IDV user Guide.
