Hi Guillaume,

The IDV is not really meant to be a data conversion tool (even though a lot
of
people use it for this reason). Nevertheless, one way to do this is to
display a
Skew-T of your model data and save the text data from there. Once you have
loaded your model data (RAP or HRRR), in the IDV dashboard, Field Selector
Tab,
go to 3D -> Derived -> Sounding Data. This choice will allow you to display
the
data as a "Grid SkewT". Once you have the SkewT displayed, in the Displays
Tab
of the IDV Dashboard, go to File -> Save -> Export Sounding Table to File.
You
will have a couple of different options; comma separated value (CSV) or
Microsoft Excel format.
