SH GOES-8,10 imagery

NMSU/PSL is involved in a Southern Hemisphere scientific balloon
flight and we are needing a backup to our current source
for satellite imagery in McIDAS AREA format (real-time or pretty close)
from -10 to -40 around the world.  I am particularly needing 
a backup for GOES8,10 Southern Hemisphere data south of -10.
I am just a belt-and-suspenders kind of guy, hence the need for backup.
McIDAS ADDE access would be preferrable, but FTP access would be good
as well.
