I see my error, I need to not match on the station sending the data,
but on the AWIPS header, because sometimes the IDs are different. 

from ldmadmin watch for Topeka:

Jan 09 18:01:01 pqutil:     2480 20010109180132.557 NNEXRAD 398  SDUS53
KTOP 091752 /pNTPTWX

So, the data is sent by KTOP, but is for KTWX.


Here is the incorrect pqact.conf entry for the base reflectivity product
that I used to store the station name in variable \1:

NNEXRAD ^SDUS53 .(...) ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])([0-5][0-9]).*/pN0R...

and what it should be:

NNEXRAD ^SDUS53 .... ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])([0-5][0-9]).*/pN0R(...)
