IDD latencies

Hello IDDers,

The IDD appears to be suffering from intermittent network problems,
causing significant latencies to some sites.  Such a problem occurred
today around 23Z, but appears to be on the wane now.  If you were seeing
RECLASS and 'skipped' messages in your log or are missing products, this
might be the reason.  

The problem appears to occur at our UCAR link to Abilene.   Our network
engineers are on notice about the problem and will take a look at it if
and when it occurs again.
