No can do on the new Redhat Kernel...

Although it is better compiling it on the new kernel, I still get load 
averages around 10 when all the data is coming in. Normally, it is between 
2-3. That's WAY too high. Tomorrow, I'll switch my SMP machine back to 
2.4-3. Again, the read/writes are just way too much from the hard drive.
