Hi, We're considering modifying the LDM so that it no longer uses the PortMapper. Instead, it would always use port 388. If this would cause problems for you, then PLEASE LET ME KNOW. You can use the netstat(1) utility to see what port your LDM uses (you might need to cross-reference the output with file /etc/services). If your LDM uses ANYTHING OTHER THAN 388, then I NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU. I don't need (or want :-) to hear from you if your LDM uses port 388. Regards, Steve Emmerson, LDM Developer
