In a previous message to me, you wrote: >Looks like the network to sunset.meteor.wisc.edu is hosed. All is well now. > Gilbert and all, Our network people did some expected maintenance on our router between 6 and 6:30 AM CST this morning, which should not have affected our networking for more than a few minutes. However, one of the changes apparently was to drop support for the RIP protocol. The routed program on SGIs uses this to automagically configure a default route. As a result, ALL of our SGI machines could no longer contact the outside world. I've now set a default route by hand and they should be happily talking to the world again. Please switch back over to sunset and let me know if any problems continue.
