Hi folks,There appears to be a little confusion over the tropical cyclone public advisories. The WTNT31-35 KNHC Public Advisories from the NHC/TPC and the WTNT31-35 KWNH products are sequential in that the Hydrometeorological Prediction Center (http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov) begins issuing their Public Advisories only after we've stopped issuing advisories for a US landfalling tropical cyclone. The HPC Public Advisories are issued as long as the storm remains as a flooding threat. The HPC products used to be called Storm Summaries (NFDSCCNS1-5 KWNH), but were changed last season to align their product name with ours.
