We were ingesting one level2 Nexrd2 site from upstream, and it was adding up to 2 mins delay, with data arriving in "bursts" consisting of multiple volume scans. That was a simple one liner in the ldmd.conf. It seems that the more data flowing, the less latency and "bursting" occurred. In any event, this upgrade fixed the issue and its working fine now. Thanks Steve. Ray Weber Mass. If you used more complex ldmd.conf request lines, it seems like the problem was compounded. Even so, weatherx.admin.niu.edu are now on 6.6.3, getting data one second or less behind real-time. I strongly encourage everyone to upgrade...in spite of the recent glitches, the general performance/stability increase versus older, unsupported LDMs such as 6.5 and earlier are well worth the 10 minutes of your time. And Steve, thanks for your hard work on this...it is much appreciated! ******************************************************************************* Gilbert Sebenste ******** (My opinions only!) ****** Staff Meteorologist, Northern Illinois University **** E-mail: sebenste@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx *** web: http://weather.admin.niu.edu ** *******************************************************************************
