I'm just curious as to how many people run their LDM queues from memory? Thoughts?
I just set up our ldm to use RAM for the queue file a few weeks ago and, as you noticed, it makes a huge difference in the disk usage. It has lowered the system load at peak times. All I had to do was make an edit to the ldmadmin-pl.conf and my init scripts. RAM is cheap these days, I wish I'd done it sooner.
