Dear Christian, In our software download page (http://tempo.cptec.inpe.br:8080/publicacoes/) you will find the project Buoy2Mysql.This is a modified Unidata's Perl-Netcdf Buoy decoder to ingest the decoded (ASCII) data in a MySQL database. There are instructions to connect the perl script with the LDM.
The project LDM_RAW2MYSQL stores the raw messages (WMO Bulletins). We are tuning it for our operational purposes.

Hi everyone, This issue has been discussed a little bit a few years ago, but not really on what I would like to do. I would like to decode surface data (synop, metar, buoys, ship) into a MySQL database, directly through pqact.conf in realtime, and as well store the raw messages. I would also like to scour the data (as in the scour disk utility) to keep only the past week of data. My main questions resides in what kind of actions (PIPE, FILE, etc) should be used in pqact, and if somebody did already something like this (so that I do not reinvent the wheel). Many thanks!
