Matt, The command "ldmadmin start" should create the LDM logfile. If it doesn't, then that would cause your problem. The following must be true before executing that command: * The ldmadmin(1) script is not setuid. * The directory $HOME/logs is owned by the LDM user and writable by that user. * If the file $HOME/logs/ldmd.log exists, then it is owned by the LDM user. * The command "ldmadmin start" is executed by the LDM user.
