Mark,Could you give us a new update? Where do things stand now? From what hostname will we, and other FNMOC clients, be able to point our LDM requests so we can resume downloads?

Hello All:I've received a couple of e-mails regarding the availability of the NOGAPS LDM feed, so I thought I would reply to the mailing list. I wish I had better news to report. My current estimate for restoring the NOGAPS LDM data flow is late November 2008. FNMOC and NRL-Monterey are in the process of transitioning the US GODAE servers over to NRL. There have been several "administrative challenges" to completing this transition. We realize that these long delays are very inconvenient, not only for our LDM users, but also for other users of the US GODAE servers. We really do regret the inconvenience.
