The 'surf split' pqsurf.conf actions sometimes file's
METAR reports with odd ball ICAO's
today's culprits

the files where empty ..

I've had that happen once or twice with some VERY bad filenames (i.e.

garbled junk) that the script can't handle. Look at the last file that gets cleaned up -- that's usually the directory you have manual delete the files

in.

Greeting's
    I started getting this error when 'scour' runs

xargs: unmatched single quote; by default quotes are special to xargs
unless
you use the -0 option

I did some 'Googleing' on the subject it looks to be
an error in the way the LDM scour function is using
grep and wildcards
it doesn't seem to be effecting scour
the only thing I can relate to what I did to the server
to when this appeared..
was I upgraded VIM and installed VIM-Enhanced
don't know if that's related or not
