Is it formally available as a stable release somewhere?

Not yet, Rob. I'm still breaking it. ;-) I found a very minor bug
in it this afternoon, but I'm utterly convinced that it's ready at
this point. It's going to be a learning curve with the installation
and the new registry it comes with, but the end result lets you
do some REALLY cool things.
