Version 6.9.0 of the LDM is now available at
<http://unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm>.
Installation and configuration are different in this release -- so
PLEASE FOLLOW CLOSELY THE NEW INSTALLATION AND CONFIGURATION
INSTRUCTIONS. In particular, the installation directories follow the GNU
automake(1) standard and a registry is used rather than the Perl
ldmadmin(1) configuration-file. Also, the configure(1) script will
create some symbolic links to pre-6.9 directories if you upgrade a
existing, pre-6.9 installation.
Check the CHANGE_LOG file or the "History" link on the webpage for a
list of other improvements.
