Gilbert,
All our servers are now running LDM 6.9.0, including our NOAAport ingest server, now running brand-spanking new NOAAport version 1.5.0. All without any issues so far. As an FYI, for those of you with NOAAport ingesters, to get 1.5.0 to work with LDM 6.9.0, you have to do: make all LDM_PREFIX=../ldm-6.9.0 LIBS= &>all.log make install LDM_PREFIX=../ldm-6.9.0 LIBS= &>install.log And execute as root: make install_setuids LDM_PREFIX=../ldm-6.9.0 LIBS=
Bit more complicated than that. On a Solaris system, you don't need the LDM_PREFIX or LIBS arguments. Also, "make install" is sufficient: "make all" can be skipped.
It's an unsupported package. This means old-school installation procedures (i.e., manually editing the makefile).
