Recently upgraded to ldm 6.9.7, noaaport 1.6.2 and the S300 receiver from Novra.
We have one site with this configuration that is doing quite well (hardware is 
identical between sites: hp dl 160G5, quad core, 6gb ram), and one where the 
readnoaaport process is returning multiple errors, along these lines:

I've seen a like issue reported elsewhere but have yet to see a fix posted. 
I've followed the suggested best practices afaik. Here is the configuration 
dump for the receiver:
