Does the directory exist?  (ldm/gempak/model/rap/) decoder do not create 
subdirectories like FILE does

Thank you Donna and James for your reply.

Donna - changing to an absolute path didn't seem to do anything, but  I've left 
it as absolute paths just in case.

James: I'm assuming that an ldmadmin restart would take care of this, or am I 
mistaken?  In any event, I ran the command with the LDM running.
