Hi Neil, I'd use the RAMADDA repository: http://lead.unidata.ucar.edu/repository/entry/show/RAMADDA+Data+Repository/Data/Public+LDM+Data/decoded/gempak/model?entryid=synth%3A74b42e6b-22d0-4bf5-9cc3-38e788ea02be%3AL2RlY29kZWQvZ2VtcGFrL21vZGVsSome of what's on Motherlode appears outdated(note nogaps entry...now navgem). The 703 grid looks the same as 003, but the output on the Motherlode GFS703 file doesn't cover the full 192 hour output.
